It would be wonderful if you could add support for the Astrohub in indilib (www.indilib.org), something similar to ASCOM. Indylib is fully integrated with the Linux astronomy program kStars. Kstars has telescope controlled via Ekos, which interfaces with indilib to talk to the telescope, focuser, dome, weather station, just about anything… This would be a great device to have supported with indilib!
Thanks
Thanks John for pointing it out. I have zero experience in coding in Linux environment, but I will take a look into this and give it a try.
Cheers!
Any results?
I am getting into INDI drivers with first results, but I do not plan to support AstroHub 3.0 with INDI driver. First device with INDI support will be new small compact EZ focuser device that I am prototyping now. If everything will go ok, I will try to create INDI driver for AstroLink 4 mini – but that will be somehow complicated due to many different functionalities of this device.
OK. I will wait for the possibility to remote control de Astrolink 4 mini. I think it will be a very good future for the Astrolink 4 mini.
